We run so we can drink wine for charity!

Our focus:
Focus? You mean besides the complimentary glass of wine after we run/walk for a meaningful cause? Or spending a day sipping and wandering through the vines at 3 Texans Winery and Vineyard? Or the food trucks and live entertainment? Or partnering with other organizations to bring awareness to our mission? Because we are SUPER focused on those parts! FHAHFH is partnering with 3 Texans Winery and Vineyard to host our first Rose the Roof 5K. We are a non-profit organization that is not federally funded and therefore we rely on donations, and sponsorships. Your support of this project will help our affiliate gain community awareness through outreach and give us the opportunity to increase our impact on those who need assistance. In addition, all funds raised will be used to fund a Habitat home for one of the 19 families currently enrolled in our Homeownership Program.
While building and repairing homes is what we do, the reason we do it is to change lives. We build homes because they are essential building blocks for families and communities. We repair homes because our goal is to provide sustainable living conditions that offer peace of mind and allow people to age in place.
So join us for a day full of health, community outreach, and sipping for a cause!
Not a fan of running? That's okay, some of us aren't either. Join us for our sip and stroll portion where you can leisurely walk through the vines and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine provided by 3 Texans Winery and Vineyard.
Don't have childcare? Don't worry, our sip and stroll portion is a child-friendly event! Grab a stroller or their running shoes and make a mom's day out, or a family event of it!
Don't like drinking? That's okay too! 3 Texans Winery will be creating a non-alcoholic beverage exclusive to our event!
...We know, we've thought of everything!
