How can you get involved?

Habitat for Humanity has a proven track record of helping deserving families in Central Texas with a hand up, not a hand out. There's never been a more crucial time for us to create long-term and sustainable housing solutions for our families, but we can’t do this without you.

Our need is CentralTexas-Sized From home-build sponsorships and land development to financial counseling and general operational expenses, funding has never been more important. Last year alone we had over 500 families apply for a Habitat Home and our program could only accommodate 25 qualified families and individuals.

Many of our applicants only need some basic financial counseling to help get their credit reports back on track in order to qualify.  We need funds and volunteers to turn the idea of "credit coaching" into reality.

We also struggle to acquire land where families want to live. Many of our applicants could be qualified into our program, but due to lack of land availability in their desired area, we cannot accommodate them. Please consider sharing your resources to help a family on its life journey.

There's more than one way to donate

to Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity

We rely on the generous donations of individuals, businesses, civic organizations, faith groups, and private foundations to accomplish our goals.  Thank you to committed partners and sponsors for helping us get this far!
